Welcome! Feather Candelaria (San Felipe/ Jemez Pueblo) was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2000. Her home is in San Felipe Pueblo. She is an active participant in her community, she enjoys dancing for her tribe's annual Feast Day. Candelaria attends the Institute of American Indian Arts and is working towards earning a bachelor's degree in fine arts as a multimedia artist. Last school year she was nominated as the school’s first Mental Health Ambassador. In May Candelaria was a vendor at IAIA’s commencement powwow. She has also recently showcased her work at The Museum of Contemporary Native Arts Museum as a vendor at Santa Fe’s Annual Indian Market. Her next goal is to become an Art Therapist and explore other interests such as Environmental Science.

My art is explorations of imaginative thoughts that come out on paper. I'm influenced by my family, community, nature, and Pueblo culture.
